Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and IBADAN DOT DEV (Ibadan Development Company), which runs Revoyse (“we”). By creating an account or using Revoyse, you agree to them. If you use Revoyse for a school or company, you agree on its behalf. Questions: support@ibadan.dev.

Your account

Give us a real email address and keep your sign-in safe; you're responsible for what happens in your account. You must be at least 13, and under 18 you need a parent's or school's permission.

Your content

What you upload and the videos you make with Revoyse are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Revoyse for you: transcribing, planning, drawing and exporting. We don't use them to train AI models or show them to anyone else.

You must have the rights to everything you upload, including other people's voices, faces and music. Don't use Revoyse for anything illegal, hateful, sexual involving minors, harassing, or that infringes someone else's rights, and don't try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service. We can remove content or suspend accounts that do.

AI makes the plans and illustrations, and it can get things wrong. Check your videos before you publish them; you're responsible for what you publish.

If someone makes a claim against us because of what you uploaded or published, for example that it uses their music, voice or work without permission, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from it.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we can use them freely, with nothing owed to you.

Your AI keys

After the free trial, Revoyse uses the AI keys you add (for example from OpenAI or Anthropic). Your provider bills you directly for that use, under its own terms. We're not responsible for your provider's charges, outages or limits.

Plans, minutes and space

Payments, cancelling and refunds

Plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment provider and renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge; your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for. Moving up a plan starts the new plan straight away, with a fresh month of minutes, and ends the old one without crediting its unused days. Moving down takes effect at the end of the month, with nothing charged or credited. Payments, including packs, aren't refunded, except where the law requires it or we decide to in a particular case. If we stop Revoyse, or remove a part of it you've paid for, we'll refund the unused part of what you paid. If you think you were charged by mistake, email us.

Prices don't include taxes such as VAT unless they're shown; where taxes apply, they're added at checkout.

Revoyse and packs are digital and start straight away. Where the law gives you a right to cancel a purchase within a period (such as 14 days in the EU and UK), you agree that it ends once you start using what you bought: your plan's minutes, a pack, or a self-hosted download.

Self-hosted licences

If you buy self-hosted Revoyse, you can run it for the number of users you paid for and get every 1.x update. You may not resell, share or redistribute it, or remove its licence checks. Once Revoyse has been downloaded, the purchase can't be refunded; you agree to this before you pay. If a payment is refunded or reversed, its licence is revoked.

Closing an account

You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms or go unpaid, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety stops us. Once an account is closed, its data is deleted as described in our privacy policy, so download anything you want to keep first.

The service

We work to keep Revoyse running well, but it's provided “as is”: we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or suit a particular purpose. We may change or stop features, and we'll give reasonable notice before removing something important you pay for.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, data or opportunities, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of US$100 or what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes go to the courts of Nigeria. Please email us first: most things can be sorted out quickly.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update the date above, and for important changes we'll email you before they apply. Using Revoyse after that means you accept the new terms.
